Juan Cazalla built WhatsAppDirect as a free app. This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This Privacy Policy explains how WhatsAppDirect handles information when you use the app. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
## Information Collection and Use
WhatsAppDirect does not require you to create an account and does not operate its own server to collect, store, or process your personal information.
The app may store the following information locally on your device to provide its core features:
– Phone numbers that you recently opened through the app.
– The country code you selected.
– Your preferred language.
– Your preferred WhatsApp app selection, if you choose one.
– A local counter used to decide when an ad may be shown.
This information is stored on your device only. It is not sent to me or stored on my servers. You can remove recent numbers from inside the app, and you can also delete the app to remove locally stored app data from your device.
When you use the paste button, WhatsAppDirect reads text from your clipboard only after you choose to paste. The app uses that text to fill the phone number field and does not send clipboard contents to me.
When you open a chat, WhatsAppDirect creates a WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business link containing the phone number you entered and asks your device to open it in the selected app. WhatsAppDirect does not send message contents and does not access your WhatsApp conversations.
## Third-Party Services
WhatsAppDirect may use third-party services that can collect information used to identify you or your device. These services are governed by their own privacy policies.
Third-party service providers used by the app may include:

The app uses Google Mobile Ads SDK / AdMob to show ads. The app requests non-personalized ads where supported, but Google may still collect information such as IP address, device identifiers, ad interactions, app performance data, diagnostics, and other data needed for advertising, analytics, security, and fraud prevention.
## Log Data
I do not collect app log data on my own servers.
Third-party services used by the app, such as Google AdMob, may automatically collect diagnostic and usage information. This may include information such as your device IP address, device identifiers, operating system version, app interactions, performance data, the time and date of use, and other statistics, as described in those third-party services’ policies.
## Cookies and Similar Technologies
WhatsAppDirect does not explicitly use browser cookies for its own purposes.
However, third-party services used in the app, including advertising services, may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers, or similar technologies to provide, measure, secure, and improve their services. You may be able to control advertising identifiers from your device settings.

I may use third-party companies and services for the following reasons:

## Children’s Privacy
WhatsAppDirect is not directed to children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If I become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information to me, I will take steps to delete that information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information, please contact me.
## Security
I value your trust in using WhatsAppDirect. The app is designed so that the phone numbers and preferences it stores remain on your device. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective when they are posted on this page.
